Vintage watches require a bit of extra care to keep them running well and looking their best. Here are a few key tips:
-
Avoid water exposure, especially if the watch is not water-resistant — even light splashes can cause damage.
-
Keep it away from magnets, which can affect timekeeping accuracy.
-
Wind it gently and regularly, ideally at the same time each day for manual watches.
-
Store it safely in a cool, dry place, preferably in a watch box or case.
-
Service it every 3–5 years to maintain the movement and overall condition.
